OK guys...trying to get some get togethers planned. Davis has a lift to put on so we need a wrench day for that too. Anyway a few of us are meeting up at Vances on Sunday...would like to have a couple of y'all there. Also...next weekend will be another get together...location tbd...if anyone wants to open their home or garage for it let me know...otherwise it might be at my place which is fine too. And finally...Wed like to get a chapter wheeling/camping trip planned for sometime in September. Any ideas or input you guys or gal might have let me know! Looking forward to your ideas and hope to see more of you around!

I won't make it this weekend, but the following weekend I'm free I think. Have to double check with "the boss". Camping/wheeling trip sounds like a blast too. I hope I can make that one. Just have to figure out where to camp. I have a few ideas, but unfortunately you not supposed to have beer in Blackwater. That cuts down the options for sure since I doubt too many people want to camp without beer. Doesn't bother me, but I know it will some people.

True...the no beer thing will bother some people...not me either HAHA. What about Vortex Springs? It's a bit of a drive but I always have a blast when I'm up there.

Never been up there. Not sure what the off roading would be like around there, but can't be much worse than here. Lol. Like I said, If I'm able to go, I'll go wherever.

I would probably be down for Vortex, if they have full hook-ups, I'm lazy.

I'll be roughing it, but I do think Vortex has full hook ups. If no one beats me to it, I'll look into it.

$8.00 entrance fee
$17.50 campsite fee includes primitive site
$5.50 for 30 amp hookup and water
$7.50 for 50 amp hookup and water
$3.50 for tent electricity

Looks like about $23-25 a night for electric plus entrance fee, they said it might fill up quick, might need to make reservations or get someone there early to hold a couple of sites. If we can set a date, I'll check with the wife and see about making it up there. We've camped in Marianna for the last 3 years so it might be nice to take a weekend trip to somewhere different.

I'm prob up for whatever pending clearance from the wife of course. What about camping at boggs and boulders? We could camp/hangout and maybe even wheel a little!

Man! I am WAY down for that! If we want to wheel...have at it, if not...relax, plenty of action to watch, etc. I need to test out the quad and might even play with the truck a bit.
