GEM Module Problem??

I have a 99 SD 4x4 that has developed a strong viabration that feels like a washboard road.

It can be immediately stopped by turning the "shift on fly" to 4HI and back to 2HI.

My thoughts lead me to belive that the GEM Module may be at fault.

Any thoughts??

85,000 miles and no other apparent issues.
