What the general consensus on helping me rebuild a trans/maybe a turbo?

Its currently driveable and the trans is decent just the 3rd gear synchro is a bit shot. I figure I could drive it down there and with some combined effort get those projects knocked out real quick? Wonder if anyone would be interested of if it would be too much a headache for a fun day lol.

Rebuilding the turbo would be a fun project, i dont have any idea how we would do the transmission as well though. BS'ing starts happening and you lose time just goofing around. Its hard to get the full day projects finished in just one day
