HELP!! Anyone near Corvallis, Oregon

I am in need of a welder that is semi portable! My buddies trac bar mounting bracket for his truck just snapped and he is about 10 miles from the Oregon State Campus!..

Good, it has been a while since I visited the event section.

You remember Mark? He was the one in the 2001 with the canopy from Scio... he has a great shop with lots of tools and is great help!! He is over on FTE though...

Just saw this, but don't have a welder. Glad you got it back okay. I would think you could drive a short distance without the trac bar if you took it REAL easy in corners.

We took a giant Ubolt off of the suspension and ran it around the frame... then connected it to the trac bar with bunch of washers and drove it home going like 15 MPH.... VERY minimal steering

What is FTE?? I have been looking for a couple guys willing to teach me a thing or two about these transmissions over a weekend. I want to pull mine and do whatever i can to make it last, flush all the lines, and figure out what all is in it (my dad had it rebuilt with "better than stock" parts haha)...

So if anyone is willing to help a college kid out with this just let me know.... Thanks guys
