Anyone near Lawton/Ft Sill OK.

I'll be heading that way after the first of the year for some training, just wondering about the weather that time of the year and is there anything to do in that area while off duty. Thanks in advance

I stayed with a friend in Lawton once, nice place.
There was a tornado when I was there though.

hey man, hows the Army life treating you ? I'll be at Ft Sill for WTC sometime after the first of the year. It's only 5 weeks so I doubt I'll be around when you get there but if I am I haven't forgot that you owe me a beer....lol

It will be cold and windy, maybe some snow. Not much to do in Lawton, White Buffalo lives there, and I would warn you about him, but you'll be safe since his woman got home after a year in the sand box, I don't think he has come up for air yet, he hasn't posted anywhere since the day she got back, and thats been a couple of three weeks. Hope he has his scuba gear with him.....

Mount Scott is close to there, nice little drive to the top, bunch of buffalo around there, Meers Ok is a good place to get some longhorn burgers and bbq.

All types of vehicles and engines are welcome however the plaques are only for the Diesel’s

After the dyno there will be a post dyno day get to gather at Western Sizzlin in Harrison

We would like to have an accurate number by the 31st of December if you want to spin the dyno. Please contact me or biged681985 if you want to attend.

I live about 10 miles south east of Lawton. There really isnt much here to do. not too much ice or snow here, lots of wind, frequent tornados in the spring and some pretty good sized hail too. Not a bad place just not alot to do.
