also for the logo, do you all expect this to be a high end colored sticker/decal? if so the colors are not going to matter...

or are we going for a typical white text and window back ground that looks good on glass?

I was wondering about the background also. I think a clear background would be okay then the text would need to be a lighter color to show up on a tinted window.
We have a new graphics and sign shop near by here i though i would go talk to when we get something.

i think the typical white decal would be best for this, the kind that shows up on a tinted or clear back window also....but that is my thoughts....(or whatever color you want)

Then you have a defined border but we don't have a border outline.
I don't want to put a white square on my window.
a transparent background with the colored text and state with the tornado would look kick azz.

any logo you try to make with multpile colors, shadows, gradients, etc. will cost a LOT to make if you want a color sticker and will lose things when shrunk down...

IM WITH CHENRY I DONT WANT TO PUT JUST A PLAIN OLD WHITE STICKER IN MY TRUCK,I THINK THE CHAPTER LOGO SHOULD LOOK ITS BEST BECAUSE OF THE PEOPLE BEHIND YOU IN A PSD.IF YOU WERE FOLLOWING TWO GUYS WITH PSD CHAPTER LOGOS ON THIER TRUCKS ON WAS ALL COLORED UP AND THE OTHER WAS JUST WHITE,WHICH ONE YOU GONNA PULL OVER AND TALK TO.I KNOW ME THE COLORED ONE IS GONNA GET MY ATTENTION MORE THAN THE WHITE.

I'm really diggin the one without the guns, in reference to the clea backgrounded one everyone is talking about (and that I tend to lean twards) how had would it be to get one where the border of the actual state is made of barb wire with a tornado in the center?

Are we closer to having a few ideas to vote on? One idea my old lady came up with is to go to a votech and have there graphic design class help out.

Excelent idea...however, on second thought, we would probably NOT get them done very fast...
