Track day 3-15-08

Okay for the G2G in march we went to the track, man the wind would not stop blowing and it made for a long chilly day....

all of my times were in the 17 plus category....so i had fun running but was let down, i expected around high to mid 15's....

1st run-17.544/77.12 MPH
2nd run-17.055/77.95 MPH*best time*
3rd run-17.826/77.58 MPH
4th run 17.759/78.17 MPH

here are the pics....

my first run against a 12 sec camaro,lol

my second run against a 14 sec chebby/gmc gasser truck.

my third run against a 14 goat, CNsmoke on CompD site owner of CN smoke diesel performance in Sapulpa OK.

my last run against another 12 sec camaro,


all of this after spending $96 plus to top off my tank!!!

That's about normal times for a stock 6.0! SMKSTAX is running better than that with his 04 supercab but it has several advantages over your lifted/large tire crew cab.

For $400 you can cut 3 seconds off those times and add 16 mph! All it takes is a credit card and a phone call Joe. It looks like you had fun and that's what really matters.

maybe so, but the turnouts are getting to small to even waste the time to do anything anymore....

the DFW guys are doing one on the 6th of April, look in the TX section for the info..

i think this was just a bad weekend for everyone with the start of spring break a lot of familys had company come into town then some were probably going out of town plus the weather was not all that great give it time they will come.
