Route help thru OK, please

Hello all. We are leaving tomorrow morning for our summer trip and will be going through OK. We will be pulling a 35ft 5th wheel, but the traffic SHOULD be lighter being it will be Saturday.

We live just west of Austin, Tx and are headed to Eureka Springs, Ar. I think it would be best to go through DFW and on north, but not sure from there. Going up Hwy 75 through Durant and McAlester looks the shortest, but not sure about it being the easiest (lots of small towns, road cond, etc).

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

After you cross the Oklahoma state line it turns into highway 69. It's not really that bad of a stretch. Just watch your speed closely and make sure lights etc. are in good working order. Those small town cops are kind of a pain. That being said, I have never been pulled over and have drove that route several times. Hope this helps.
