Tenn. Duck, I heard there is something truckish going on at the Shelby County Fairgrounds this weekend (13th, 14th of June) any idea what it is or if it is worth driving up for?
I saw the sign on the side of I-75 on my way to a job interview and this was the first I heard of it. It is at the fairgrounds but I'll have to ask my stepson what its all about.

If I'm here I would like to go as I only live about 2 miles away. I'll have to wait and see if I'm going to be here. My clutch is slipping, too bad for me.lol

Didn't you just replace that clutch??

How do you like your DP tuner? I think guages and a DP are my next modifications.

cchase, "did anyone ever design a logo or get a name or something cool?"

I think Cob was working on that but its been awhile.

Smitty, "Didn't you just replace that clutch??

Yeah I did just replace that clutch but as it turns out the distributor kinda misled me. Dan at Valair got it all straightened out for me and stood behind his product 100%. I got my gauges at Diesel Manor, they came highly recommended and the kit was absolutely complete. I love my DP Tuner but still can't hammer it on 140 extreme until I get this clutch in. If you get a DP Tuner make sure you get gauges first or at the same time cause the heat really builds fast when you turn it up and if you have a manual trans get the NMU70241-04 Valair Clutch, your stock clutch is no match for the tuner......trust me. I couldn't even use 80 economy with a stock clutch. I am hoping to get my truck on the lift this weekend end get the clutch done but something may have come up. I have a friend in Cinci with cancer and a friend from Tn came up to visit him but it seems her ride home kinda left her high and dry so I may have to take her home, depends if her ride had a change of heart....again.

I kinda wanted to go watch the tug-a-truck in Sidney, but there are supposed to be wicked storms around tonight.

I have an auto tranny. I want to get stock,60T,80E,120R I really don't drive very crazy anymore, to many tickets and fuel costs to much. I have hesitated on getting the DP because I don't wanna ruin my tranny. Will it be okay?

Better check with some of the auto tranny guys and see what they are doing to make them hold up to the tuner. You didn't miss anything with the "tug-a-truck" here. I didn't go but some of my friends did and said it was pretty lame. One of the guys I work with with said he saw them throw some money in the mud bog and there was "at least a 300 pound 60 year old woman flopping around half naked" trying to grab all the money. I thought he was gonna get sick telling me about it, said that was when he left.
