were all pretty much family here right? with the economy the way it is and people or family's losing there jobs is gotta be very tough. i know cause im going through some financial trouble myself but this thread is NOT for me. with all the members here, why cant we set up a thread to help our fellow members? im big on trying to help others if i can. even if it was my last dollar i would give it to someone in need. lets say a family lost there job and needs help paying there bills for the month. if 3000 members pitched in a buck, just a buck, im sure that would do a lot of good for them to help em survive a little while longer. i beleive if you do good for someone, you will be returned the favor someway or somehow. lets kick this around for a bit and hear your thoughts and opinions.

its a good thought but im sure there are ALOT of issues that would have to be addressed. let me think about this more and see what issues i might see.

ok a issue with that.


first the thought is what counts. and thats good.

however, some one will need to manage the money and or deal with paypal. we went though this prob when the lotto was going on.

so if some one needs help, do we like paypal, write a check/cash and send it in the mail?

just stating my thoughts.

i dont think we need a certain person to handle the money. if a person or familly needs help, send them a check or paypal them money. only problem i see is people lying that they need help and just lookin for some free money. any ideas on how to deal with that?

thats the only problem i would have with it is people trying to get free money. Sure would be nice if everyone were honest, but if they were i guess we (the USA) wouldnt be in this perdicament...
anyway i like the idea and would be more than happy do donate a little money to a struggling family.

maybe they can send in a video application, and we vote on a couple then put it into a pot and pick several out
