Flag Etiquette
Just on my way home from work (dark, I work nights), I saw 3 flags flying at night with no light on them. This sort of thing drives me nuts! I'm going to print out a page of flag etiquette and tape it to their front door so they see it in the morning.

Make sure you use a highlighter, and highlight the part they need to read..

I agree with you 100%. When I put my flag pole up I made sure to install a light at the same time. I wired it to a dusk/dawn sensor so if I'm not home at dark the light still comes on.

For best illumination of the flag. The light should be placed on the southside of the pole. It should be placed right next to the pole and shine straight up.

Had to make 4 signs. One of them was for the Post Office!

I have had to do this before also. I just went up to the door at like 9pm and told them. Like 3 days later they had a light installed so i was happy.
