I am unhappy to say that I just sold my first truck wich what my second vehicle Here is the only pic I have with me. Its a 63 GMC longbox wich my grandpa gave me for x-mass the year I graduated from High School. Out of the many cars 3 trucks 4 including my PSD had I miss this one the most. It has the stock 305 V-6 in it with a 327 long block and 350 trans in the bed waiting to be built and installed. I had it ready for paint untill the axle shaft and all came out and dorked up the bed. I also had all the chrom refinIshed and added new half moon rims.



But all isn't lost. I sold it my best friend from back home. He had a 61 but it turned it a truck-b-q one day. So I can understand why he wanted mine so bad. I'm glad that he is taking it, because I don't have the time or money to travel from NC to UT and get it, then get it going again.

Here's mine. My granny bought this truck new in '80. It's been in our family ever since. unfortunately right now it's just sitting but one of these days I'll get it restored into a street truck. Still runs though. Oh and it's even uglier now....

I had an 85 that is my second most missed truck. I'll have to see if I can dig up a pic. Only thing I regret is I beat the hell out of it. Then spent waaaaay to much to make it pretty again just to trade it for a 2nd gen gasser 360 Dodge.

yeah I beat the hell out of that truck. that's where I learned most of my mechanic skills though...

lets see

it's on its 3rd motor
4th ot 5th tranny
2nd driveshaft
3rd rearend
2nd set of lower control arms
been through probably 2 sets of door skins
2 hoods

and all other kinds of goodies here and there, and this is only counting when I drove it...

Have too many good memories to ever get rid of it though.

Deff a must have. And I feel ya on the economy, I almost had to turn my boat back in last winter. Thank to the loan company they defered my payments for 3 month to get cought back up.

It sure was fun..never run both systems at once.(full pass that is)I did make a half track pass with both 1 time(hit the frickin roll pan at half track).I was only spraying 1050Hp combined..Man do I miss it.
