The first time I saw it, it shook me to the core, and still does. I truly believe that it does say more than a thousand words.
It is my hope that everyone who sees this, will have a deeper understanding of the high cost of the freedoms we enjoy, and that these freedoms are not to be taken lightly.
I can't begin to imagine the grief that the little guy was experiencing and I hope the best for him.
I have no idea where I found the picture or who took it, if I had the info I would make sure this person received proper credit.
When you hear of a service member dying remember, it isn't just a blurb on the news. This is an individual who voluntarily served, and in the end, gave their life in the service of this nation. An individual who had a family and friends, no doubt, devastated by this great loss.
