American Idol

I don't know how many folks watch American Idol, but what happened tonight I feel is telling of the mood of our Country.

The last 2 contestants were male, 1 is from a Christian family, very humble and a excellent singer. The other contestant is a homosexual with painted fingernails that sang what I consider to be controversial music, an excellent singer as well.

Now what I think is telling about the results is, there were over 100 million votes cast, the panel of judges all but gave it to the controversial singer last night. But in the end the contestant with the traditional values, won.

It is refreshing to see that the entire Country has not lost it's values.

I dont think Adam sang controversial songs at all, IMO. He took very popular songs from other artists and did what the judges wanted- put his own style into them. Again, IMO, Adam is a better singer/performer than Kris.

adam had a different style that was kinda cool in a way. kris sounds like an everyday person with talent.

In no way did I say/imply Adam was not an excellent singer.

I truly feel this is an indication of the mood in our Country, we aren't going to take it anymore.
