Cool story from work
One of the nurses I work with injured her knee and hasn't been able to mow her lawn. She was telling us about how tall it had gotten with all of the rain and she needed to get it cut. Her husband is currently over in Iraq.
One of the ER docs heard the conversation and just casually asked where she lived. He gets the physical address and sends his lawn mowing service over to cut her lawn. She's in the process of telling him how that's not necessary and that she'll get it done. He stops her in mid sentence and says "Your husbands in Iraq right, protecting us over here? The least I can do is have his lawn mowed while he's over there." All she could do is dry her tears. Anyways, thought I'd share this story. Craig |
