Very cool!
As soon as I heard the roar I yelled Jets and ran outside!!! They couldn't have been more than 500' up and flew right over our building!!! Awesome sound!!!!!
And then the cannons, which are miles away at the capitol building!! Four F-15 fighters will fly over Capitol for Armed Forces Day | StatesmanJournal.com | Statesman Journal |

yup, awesome birds. hopefully they let the pilots play and show them off.
Right up until you get a billeting room, overlooking the hardened hangers where they keep the "zulu alert" ones, the ones with the real world live loads, and they have to be started, then run up every 4 hours. spent EVERY night watching them out the window for 2 weeks, sleep was out of the question! (I spent 3 years at Bitburg AFB, Germany. it was an F15 base.) |

I worked with the FF in Dhaharan. F-15 are awesome birds. Gotta love the E models.

Langley doesn't have the E model. We have F-15 C/D and the F-22. Seymour Johnson has the F-15E Strike Eagles. They are impressive for sure too.
