good weekend gone bad!!!

well this weekend started out great i striped all the paint off my emblems and cut the muffler off and put a striaght pipe in (man does the turbo whistle). then we went to dinner with some friends and then to the local drag strip to watch my buddies wife race there duramax. then on the way home it went bad about 5 miles from the house a deer decide to run out in front of me. well i'm sure you know what happened next. didn't hurt it to bad thanks to the lift it only hit the bumper. now i guess i have good excuse to upgrade to an 05 frontend.

Did you take the deer home. You know they are great eatin.

I have hit 3 deer with my truck. It has yet gone to a body shop for repairs. Although I need a new front bumper. Mine is all dented and twisted slightly from the deer.

I almost hit another one this morning on my way to work. These farmers really need to let me hunt there property near me. Funny thing is all the deer I have hit have been in the same stretch of the road.

YUP every time we go wheeling in Clayton Ok my buddy gets on the radio and tells me to watch for deer on one particular stretch of road. We always see them they just have not run out yet. I tell him that they had better watch out for me because I am not going to watch out for their well being. LOL JJ

i didn't bring the deer home, because i couldn't find it. i hit it so hard it flung it down over the edge of the road and it was 12:30 am. also it wont go to the body shop except to get a repair estimate maybe. then i will use the money to do my 05-07 frontend conversion. i will take pics later, but not much to take pics of just bent the bumper a little and broke the plastic trim on the bottom.
