Swine Flu (Surprised I am the first mention)
They closed my son's school today (04-27-04 to 05-11-09) This is the third school district closing in San Antonio this week, I am curious if this protection is needed? Is there something I am not aware of? Or our we just over protecting our community?
Either way it really does not bother me, I just hope nobody looses there life over this and it does not sweep through the United States with a harsh negative impact. "Swine Flu" That is all that has been on the news and all over the television the passed 5 days. |

According to the CDC, 36,000 people die from the Flu each year. We will pray this number does not increase due to this new Southern epidemic.

It is actually a very serious threat, if gone untreated it is very deadly. Normally our bodies when in a generally healthy start can shrug off most types of flues. However what makes the swine flu so deadly is that it is a combination of human, pig and bird DNA and our body does not see it as a threat. So just to keep in mind if you have any unusual chest pains or difficulty breathing it is best to go to the hospital immediately because a general anti-viral should do the trick. I am just a bit of a book worm so I did my research when I hear about this.

Its a conspiracy. The swine flu epidemic was created by government owned pharmisutical companies in order to increase profits by making the public freak out so they all go to their doctors and increase insurance claims which then rises insurance rates for everyone else....

I wasnt worried about it but on monday there was only 1 case around here, and now there are like 80 or so cases. I know for sure one school was shut down but there might be more now.. So its getting kinda bad here in South Texas.
