I have a 'bug out bag' with essentials like warm weather gear (knit face masks, boots, gators, gloves, warm sleeping bags), extra cloths like jeans and shirts, water purifier and filters. Knifes, wood/bone saw, hatchet, compass, fire starters (cotton balls and vasoiline), lighters, waterproof matches, tent, flashllights, batteries, some medical supplies (guaze, tape, bandaids, neosporin etc).

I probably have more but that's all I can think of off the top of my head

i dont really have to worry about water as there is a spring behind the house. but as far as food goes we have a large garden that i planted last week and chickens and alot of canned foods both store bought and home grown. also keep plenty of ammo for all firearms but i think i have the most for the 22 as that will be one of the easist things to trade for if the shtf.

Yep, lots of ammo and I've been going the MRE route since I got a bunch of those for free from the hurricane. I want to try them but I'm just going to save them.

I have a few of those. Never worked myself up to try one though. lol I guess I will be saving them for the appropriate time.

Gardens are almost ready (three) and starts (in the house) will be planted around the 9th (after our average last frost date) and have tons of canned foods, frozen foods. Needless to say I won't starve.

I bought a few extra guns just before Christmas, but not enough. ( dont think you can ever have enough) got ammo, and looking to move here shortly to a place with a little more land so i can get a garden going. Need a bit more meat in the freezer though.

I have purchased some garden seeds that are vacuumed packed. They are the kind that will reproduce from their seeds, unlike some of the stuff we buy. The only thing I wish I could stockpile is fuel. I've got an 8KW on my Bobcat welder, that will run the freezer for a while, until the fuel runs out. Solar water wells. Cows are there. Need a source for laying hens and pigs when it happens. I'm 200 miles from my place of refuge, and fear being able to transport much past probable roadblocks. Some ammo is already there, but I need to get some firearms there, hidden.
