VIN Checks?

Does anyone know where I could get a VIN check for a Truck?

I am looking for the installed options from the factory...

Any ideas?

Just call the ford customer line. Give them the VIN, they will research it and send you a letter with build specs if you are the owner. I've done it with my past trucks.

So there is no way that someone can look it up?

I belong to a Duramax forum and there is a section that if you put in your VIN number then a couple of guys can look it up and tell you what all the factory options are on the truck... Ford doesn't do anything like that?
