well, i went and got me some wireles stuff. the freaken linksys adapter wont work onmy computer, even though it says it is Vista ready. my computer will load up nad then the screen wilol csramble up and nothing will work. im gonna take it back tomorrow and look for something else.... linksys sucks...

Hope you didnt plug in a usb before loading the driver cd.....Linksys is by far the best of the home /small business stuff.

If you plug in the card b4 the cd was used, when the driver pop up screen opens, point it to the cd drive to search for the driver.

If you use the cd first, run the setup and follow the instructions, then plug in the device.

nope, i ran the CD first then it sut down so i could install the card. then i rebooted the system, when everything was done loading, it would lock up and the screen would scramble.

I would rather have hard wire then wirless, I hate wireless, it never performs as good as running it through a wire. And security on home wireless networks is a joke, anyone can look up videos on youtube and learn how to get on your network ha.

yeah, when i was able to search for a network to log on to, i had all my neighbors come up on my screen. i thought, man, i could have free wireless. but im not a thief.........

oh yeah, i called the 24 hr support last night too, they said i would have to wait till monday for a tech rep to call me back.. i said ill just return it..... their service was a joke.
