Does anyone live in Stockton, CA?

Is it a decent area or a craphole? Specifically Weberstown Mall/Sherwood Mall/San Joaquin Delta College area. Just east of there is where I am looking.

Looking at buying something there perhaps.

stockton for the most part is a really bad area. Its a high crime area( carjacking,robberies,kidnappings,shootings etc.. If you have to live in stockton be very careful where you reside, i know there is a gated golf course community there. Personally I would never live there.

the neighboring cities are decent.
