New home

So we made an offer today on a home. hopefully they will accept and make this an easy transition. i am a little nervous, but with this being a buyers market, and me most likely not being able to get a job back home, we decided that this is a good thing to do. we will have one of our debts paid off in the process so we wont be really paying all that much more per month. i realized that in the last 2 yrs or so i have spent over 24K into rent, and it is basically gone, i have nothing to show for it, i helped someone pay their mortgage. i think its time to start paying myself with a good investment like a home and some property. wish me luck......

And you are so right about now being a buyers market, I'm sure you are getting more for your money than you would have before.
