best of luck to ya. are they putting you under??? they did me and i recommend it. make sure to keep up on your pain meds, and DO NOT eat anything sticky or drink from a straw. you dont want any kind of suction from eating or drinking. it can pull the clots out of the sockets and cause a dry socket. i have heard it hurts so bad youll wish you were dead if that happens. not a fun thing....

they hooked me up to an IV. As soon as I woke up I said "can we do that again". They had to wheel me out in a wheel chair. Enjoy the jell-o and vicodin for the next few days. I hear everyone is different but I got mine done on a tuesday and by friday I was eating sunflower seeds

Got mine out a year and a half ago. It goes by in no time or at least it feels that way and you wake up like this
I don't remember this part but my mom was saying I wanted hugs from the nurses or assitances. Went in a week later for a check up and turns out the nurses/assitances were hotties and I got my hugs. I got wheelchaired out as well.

Hope it goes well for you. I had all 4 of mine taken out at once, back in '83 or '84, I think, in the military No general anesthesia, just novacain. Two of the teeth were taken out in pieces - I remember a lot of crunching noises as he worked with the pliers!
Didn't feel so hot afterward - took nearly a week to feel human again. Hope yours goes lots better! Last edited by rdc; 07-27-2008 at 11:27 PM. |
