Families / loved ones
Howdy All,
As I head off to work here shortly I just wanted to throw out a friendly reminder to appreciate your families and loved ones, they can be gone before you know it. At the end of my shift this morning I had a pt in his late 40's with a massive cranial hemorrhage. When I left he was on life support and a recovery is highly unlikely. I realize this is not an uplifting post....but I hope that it will bring you and yours closer together. Hug someone / tell em' you love / or end a pointless argument and appreciate the time you have together. Craig |

Well said! I hope your coworker pulls through!! I always make it a point to hug the wife and kids and tell them I love them before I leave the house to work a night shift at the plant. It's a dangerous place and you never know what may happen next. If you let yourself get complacent in your job and don't respect your surroundings, it can bite you hard and quick be it job related or a medical condition. Our hopes and prayers go out to your coworker and his family!!

Craig, no idea how you do what you do and continue to be the man you are.
Hats off to you, you are a better man than I am. |
