Need Business name

Okay folks, I need some creative help. I got unemployed for the first time in 10 years last week. I plan to start my own contracting company but I'm having trouble coming up with a good name.

I plan to do commercial contracting including but not limited to, electrical, construction, plumbing, tile, paint, drywall, pretty much anything and everything relatively small. I plan to work exclusively on my local Army base as a civilian contractor to the government but may branch out and do limited work for the public.

Here is what I have so far;
S&M contracting (steven & melody, or stevens multicraft)
or
Complete solutions multicraft contracting

Anyone got any good ideas???

S&M would not be my first choice. I have 2 businesses and picking the names was difficult. Pick something all encompassing and relative to the type of work/services offered.

I was trying to be a little more subtle.

I like Complete Solutions Contracting. Ditch the multicraft. Nice logo options with CSC. Make sure you set yourself up as an LLC. It will cost you a few hundred bucks at the lawyers office but is well worth it IMHO.

Great advice Krazzee, it's worth every penny. Not only for taxes, but the protection it affords.

LLC is a must, you need to make sure you talk to a good lawyer and set up your LLC with consulting in the name. Then your contracting business as a DBA. I would use your last name, shows commitment and strenght. Abbreviations are ok but having your name on the business shows pride. Means a lot to the buyer of your services.

As we set up new vendors the first thing we look at is the name then qualifications. It sounds wierd but our research validates it

Good luck, also, try and set the business up under your wifes name and have her get set up as a minority or female owned business. Allows for more goverment contract opportunities.
