injections
so i have been dealing with lower back pain since 2000, the military realy wouldnt do anything about it, so now after a few months of Physical therapy, the VA wants to do an epidural injection this friday. have any of you had this done?? what was your experiences with this???

well tha day finally came, i got my injection this morning and wow, let me tell you that it isnt real comfortable having 3 inches of a 4 inch needle pushed into your back. i feel ok right now but i think i am still a little numbed up from the local anasthetic.

My wife(5'2") had epidurals for both kids(9#+ each). No problems but I agree that they could use a shorter needle, or not wave it in front of you with a smile on their face before the injection.

well i asked to see it and how far it was inserted after the fact. i was nervous enough when i got there. got to get another one in 2 months, i found out this morning that i have fractue of my L-2 vertebrea. nice thing to know. now i can explain my constant pain....
