New Texas gun law?

I have herd and done some research on the subject but has some questions. figured yall would know. I herd that its public carry. as in you can have the holster/gun on the out side of clothing much like the cowboy days. Also herd that it was just passed. So whats the story? anyone know the truth?

From what I understand,...everything is still being voted on,,,..nothing new has changed to my knowledge

IN THE GREAT STATE OF AZ YOU CAN OPEN CARRY WITH NO PROBS ALSO IF YOU HAVE CCW YOU CAN CARRY CONCELED BUT I SEE AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK SOMEONE OPENLY CARRYING HERE.

Yep, not voted on yet.

On the other hand they did clarify the concealed gun in your car rule. They completely took out the part about "traveling". You are now allowed to conceal a gun in your car legally, so long as you are not a convicted felon, part of a street gang, or participating in illegal activity at the time (other than a minor traffic offense.)

Whats it all about. I havent found anything that fills me in on this subject. Is it just a law that says we Texans can open carrie WITH a CCL??

Can open carry anytime, no training, no classes, just have a registered firearm and not have any convictions, be drinnking etc.

Rifle has always been open carry - I wouldn't stroll around town with an AK or anything but you can. There is no way that they will allow everyone to walk around with pistols on their hip. Adapt the CHL - maybe but they won't just let it go for anyone just to pack on their hip.
