Access to Dunn & Bradstreet

Does anyone out there have access to Dunn & Bradstreet to get a business report?

I am having a helluva time with Dell verifying my company information for a business lease. They have already extended me the line, but they say their is certain information that they cannot confirm before they release the order. I wanted to know what Dunn & Bradstreet had to say about my company, but I don't have all those beans to sign up and get my report. I am looking to see if they are reporting me as the owner and what phone numbers they have associated with my business. The best part is that all my info in verifiable by public records but they still say they cannot verify I am the owner.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Reports cost! You can actually run the report on yourself, do you have the D&B number? or PM your company name and I'll find it for ya.

I have been there tons of times before Ricky. I can find myself there, but Dell says that they can't get that same information. WTF? It's like they are some clandestine operation. I call to verify my company info, they put me on hold. They come back and say they are sorry, but based on public information and proprietary software, they cannot confirm the information I have provided them. When I ask them what they can't confirm, they tell me they cannot discuss that as it would breach their security measures. Then I ask how am I supposed to get my information verified and that's when they get rude and start citing company policy about security.

I don't get it, how do they expect to do business? They can't verify information, they won't tell me what they can't verify, they won't let me prove who I am. It's like they are playing God. If their software doesn't tell them who I am, then I am nobody.

I am so pissed with this situation. I have been dealing with it since July 2.

Mark, let me know what Tiff finds out....if not, I MIGHT be able to help. My uncle in law works for them.

He actually needs to register with them to run his own credit report to see what it says... I mean I can do it but it will be $$$ and my company might not appreciate that.
