Just droppin in to say Hi from work. For those of you who have noticed I havent been around the wireless card burnt up in my computer at home and I havent had the time or money to get it fixed. But once I do. I promiss I will be back and posting in full swing. Have a great summer Yall!!!

OMG yes I have been going nucking futts!!!!!!!!!! Ive been sick and havent bneen able to get out of the house except to work for the last 3 weeks and the T.V. SUCKS!!!!!

Im not sure what i have. It might not be a hard ware issue. It conects to my modem and it will recive packets bont wont send them or vise versa or something. what ever it is I cant get any thing to come up on my browser. I spent 2 hours on the phone with a tech @ cable one and when we got done she said my computer was broke and I had to take it into a shop to get fixed.

it was only a $600 dollar computer and its almost 2 years old. im debating on weather or not it would be better to buy a new computer or have this one fixed.

If its 2 years old you are better off going to walmart and buying a $399 complete computer..

Its a lap top. no room for a big hurken desk decoration. But im kinda leanin twards the new computer. other than my internet problem it hasnt had a hickup tho so i hate to just get rid of it. It will be 2 years old @ christmas.

Sounds like it might be a simple configuration issue. I wouldn't buy a new computer; it doesn't sound like you need one. There are plenty of IT folks on the ORG. Start up a thread in the Computer Geeks forum and post up what you have tried and myself and others can chime in to try to help determine your problem.

I instaled a new version of intenet explorer bout 10 mins ago and it is letteing me brows the net now. Well see if this was a permanant fix or if it is short lived. (keepin my fingers crossed)
