Bad Weather

Hey yall, well I am still alive. My family and I survived this bad weather we have been getting. I have not had power for 3 days. I still don't have power. But I hooked up the generator to my computer today for a short time to read messages and to let everyone know we are ok.

We have been hit pretty hard in Michigan. This is the longest I have gone with out power. But lucky me I have a 5,000 watt generator for back up. I don't like hooking it up to my computer due to the possible surging the generator can do at times.

I should have power restored in 14 hours. So I will be back online when that happens.

Thanks Banshee, we were lucky we only lost power. But other families in my area are not so lucky.

Which I been helping with storm clean up. Down trees, down branches and what not. I am doing this for free as long as I get to keep the wood. I have not been turned down yet. Because not everyone has a fireplace.

So you guys didn't have flooding right? Just high winds? Sorry I didn't see them mention anything about Michigan on the Weather Channel last night?

And being without power sucks!

High winds and Tornados, just good old thunderstorms. Nothing to major, but the damage is mainly to the electrical wires all over the place. That is the main problem.

But over all everything is good.

That was Winsconsin, the river was the Winconsin River.

Here is a local news channel website. It has plenty of pictures from the recent storms we have been hit with.

I will say that this is the worst I have ever seen in Michigan.
