I know this is a stupid question, but i have never used paypal. How does it work? does it cost anything? is it safe? sorry for being so dumb at this

the person recieving the money gets charged a 2% fee or something close to that, other than that its free. I think its safe, ive been using it for 10yrs now.

In my opinion it is the safest way to pay for something you purchased on the net.

Your info is never released by paypal. It does not cost you anything. But it costs the receiver of the money a percentage.

You enter in the bank account you want to use for paypal. I have a bank account only for paypal transactions. That way incase anything does happen I only loose the money in that account.

Paypal is a great service to use. It is indeed safe involving use and transactions. I know there are small fees based on when you receive money, but I believe when you send money there is no fee.

I use it on a constant basis when buyers outside of the state wish to have computers built for them for when they need parts that their local retailer can't get them. Good luck with it; paypal will be as safe as you make it.

Be careful!!!

If you are shipping an item someone paid you for on paypal. You must send it with delivery confirmation. If the recipient of the package claims they never got it paypal will always refund their money, then you are out the item and the money. This scam has been happening alot on ebay lately. You also have to be extremely careful amout phishing, Never go to paypals site through an email go directly to paypal through google or type it in. Phishers will send you an email that looks just like a paypal email and take you to a site that looks just like the real papal site, then when you put in your password the phisher has it.

I havent had a problem with paypal. Been usinf it for several years now.

I got me a business account, they gave me a master card that i can use like a debt card, plus you can earn interest was better than a money market.

I give them a bank acc number that is low on $$ amount in it. If you have despute pay pal will get into your bank acc any seize the $$.
