Anyone watch this show?

Last summer, I wired Sig Hansen's (capt. of the Northwestern) swimming pool and spa at his Seattle area home. Got invited to his Xmas party, was crazy. 400+ people, full time staff serving food with a full staff at the full bar. Sadly, it was less then a week after my arm surgery, so I couldn't really party down. Here's a picture of Sig and I (he's got a nice buzz at this point)



Fast forward to earlier in May...My wife, myself, and my best friend were out on Lake Union and Lake Washington, and noticed the Time Bandit tied up. Got up close to it to take a picture, and one of the crew yelled us to tie up and come aboard. Went up, took a tour of the boat, had a few beers, and shot the ****. Turns out this is the first time the boat has ever been in Seattle since it was built 17 years ago. They had alot of work to do on it, replaced the whole deck, repainted it, etc. I mentioned to Eddie (the deck boss) that I knew Sig from hooking up his pool and spa, and Eddie told me they had got a hottub off craigslist, and they were going to install in ON the Time Bandit...I laughed, he took down my number for help, and we took off.

Last Thursday, my phone rings; Eddie. He tells me they have the hot tub on the back of the boat, and the boat is on drydock. Told me they hooked it up, and couldn't get it running...So I drive the truck down to the shipyard, and this is what I see....





Took me about 10 min, got the tub running, drank some beers and shot the **** with Scott Hilstrand (captains son), and the rest of the crew. They invited me, the wife, and a few friends to a BBQ on Saturday...

That show is awsome little behind watching got some catching up to do on the dvr. You got to love that job to do what they do me personally would not last I don't think, the pay from what they say on the show is good but me and cold weather don't get along to well.

That is freakin awesome. I love that show. I bet those guys never knew they would just go from hard working crabbers to stars. Very cool pics too.

I gotta say every single person I've met has been awesome. Makes me feel better not all "reality" shows are fake

Yeah, I don't see those guys faking anything. I don't think many of them really give a crap if they are on TV or not. Truth be known, it has probably made it harder for them.

They said it's a huge PITA to have them around on deck. Crew doesn't get paid for the show either, only the boat owners.
