A big Thank You to our Service Members

God bless every one of our service members. Without you, we could not sleep at ease.

Yesterday my family and I(and 2500 other Girl/Cub/Boy Scouts) went to Golden Gate National Cemetery to plant flags in front of everyone of the 138,000+ grave sites. It was a humbling feeling being there and this is my tenth year doing this. It is my job to let the youth see that when they get to enjoy the freedoms, they have been paid for with a price of a life. It is my purpose in life to never let the youth or ignorant adults, think that freedom comes free. There is a cost associated with our freedoms. a

I want to thank every single service member and their families for sacrificially serving for your great nation.

Mods, If this is not where this belongs, please move it to the appropriate place. Just let me know if you move it and where it would be found.

Amen, thank you for doing this. I was at my mothers yesterday and she had a few pics of my nephew in Baghdad that she just got. Made me think a while.
And you are absolutely right, Freedom is not Free!

Thanks for posting this up. It is our duty to ensure that those protecting our country (and our freedoms) haven't died in vain. The best way is to honor them by remembering what they sacrificed. Great post and thanks for showing your children what the meaning of this 3-day weekend is all about.

I couldn't say it any better than y'all already have. Thank you to those who have and who are serving this great nation. And a special prayer to those who have given the ultimate sacrifice and their families.
