Well I found my trucks origin
I don't know if its a bad thing or a good thing
I found out today this is my truck with the roof rack on it.. that explains the trashed inside of the tailgate.. but they kept the outside and interior looking great ... you will never believe how I found out .. I had the truck sitting under my carport on a angle buffing it and the light must have been hitting it just right cause if I got on the right angle I could see a phone number where vynal decal was once on so I had to do a few different angles to get the whole number I went inside and used Canada411 did a reverse phone number look up and low and behold its a roof company I go to their website look at some of their pics and I blow up the pic and its the same number on the front drivers side fender even the 99-03 unit number ... I guess they keep up on their fleet of trucks cause I just hit 250,000 Km and have had it over a year with no issues ... just thought Id share ... this company is about 20 mins from me.. if you coppy the pic and blow it up the numbers are easier to read ... its the one under the bucket of the zoom boom

hahaha no but I am very picky on my trucks so I wash them all the time and I never noticed the phone number on the front fender..must have been just the right lighting from the carport shade and sun shine.. So today when I was compounding it I was like WTF is that it looks like a phone number ... then I made out the first 3 numbers and it is local so I had to go find out who had their number on my fender.. thus finding out who owned it before I got it from the dealership...that is where Canada 411 comes in handy to do a reverse phone number look up ..they had a link to their web site so naturally I had to go to it...It also explains the screw holes under the hood from the bug deflector... they wouldn't leave that rolling billboard on it once they traded it in..lol... anyway I buffed the shiat out of the fenders where the numbers were with aquafina and now I cant see it at all
this makes me happy

Before I bought mine I was looking through the owners manual, I found a receipt from a tranny rebuild 4000 miles before I bought it, It was owned by a Reno Construction Co., It looked like new in and out with 130,000 miles on it, Runs great too.

Im thinking most big companies take pretty good care of their fleet trucks.. I know we work our wreckers and roll offs hard but they are maintained very well..
