MTX Subs

Ok guys i bought 2 10" mtx subs with ported boxes for $150 to put in my truck. How does that sound for a price and is mtx a decent brand?

I used to have them in 12's, my brother had mtx 12's. I think they are a pretty good brand just depends on what level sub you get really. Are they the competition level or a little bit lower level.

MTX are good subs. I've had a set of the 4500's for over 4 years now. Been doing great. 150 seems kinda high if they are 4500's. they are about 99 each new. i guess it really depends on the box.

He got 2 name brand high quality subs with boxes for 150 I think he got a heck of a deal. I would have jumped on that deal as well if I was looking for subs.

99 a sub no box. Black you got a great deal on those subs. Trust me I been in this car audio thing for a long time. But now I just run enough to make me happy. To get two high quality brand subs with boxes for 150 even if they are used is a good deal. Unless the subs are blown but since you say they sound great I doubt they are blown. Just do not go over the peak power rating and you will be fine.
