Finally a break for me.

So back in febuary just before march I got laid off

900 jobs affected as Dell closes Edmonton call centre

I came in on my day off and got a box to clear my desk after there was a big meeting. packed my stuff and was running around doing odd jobs to try and stay above water.

fast forward to may 2nd and I get a phonecall from the guy I have been working for he says that there is a job opening at a bank for a IT guy and I would be doing thin client deployment and that we need to talk if I want this position so later friday evening I meet with him and he gives me the low down of what to expect. some traveling involved all expenses paid etc etc. I asked him what can i expect for money? he says well 55-60k a year.

I made 26k a year at DELL so um I should be starting around the 20th.
and to say I am stoked would be a understatement.
