losing my truck

Well my tuck will be gone as of April 15th


































but when I get it back from the body shop it wont have the big dent in both box sides or the smashed tailgate anymore...(previous owner didn't know how to load a truck before I got it)

I found a brand new 2003 F250 tailgate.. it came off a new truck back in 03 when it got a lift gate installed and has sat in the attic of the shop that did the install. I got it for $150 with all hardware cables etc.. its mint condition was removed the day the truck was delivered!!! to bad it is blue or I wouldn't have to paint it, it didn't even have a scratch on it ...

anyway I'm happy I have always hated the look from the back with the dents and now it will finally be fixed.. and I get to drive my 79 to work for a few days while my truck is in the shop too .. thats a added bonus

1999 F250 XLT 2WD 7.3, 6 spd, South Bend Con OFE, Detroit Truetrac, Tony Wildman tunes, Autometer Boost&Pyro, AFE Stage II, 4" MBRP Exhaust, 2" Daystars, 17x9 DC1 wheels wrapped in 33x12.50 MTZ's

kewl. I hate dented trucks. I was looking at a truck to buy and it had probly 700 bucks worth of miscelanious wrinkles, dings and scartches. it was one of the things that made me decide not to buy it.

I knew it had the dents in the box side and the gate was a write off but i have a buddy with a body shop and I knew if I looked long enough id find a good gate .. tailgate plus paint/body work will set me back $400 all together

thats not bad at all. well worth having a clean truck IMO.
