Project Civic 2008

Well as many of you know i like Honda's as much as Fords. Last month i bought a theft recovery 2000 Honda Civic Si. It had No motor, trans, shift linkage, finders, hood, bumpers, head and taillights, dash, guages, a/c controls, wheels, and raditor,

after arguing with a buddie that i coudnt get it running in 2 weeks i took the bet and ran with it. im gunna post some pics to show the build. but i have already started the build so i dont have any really early pics. guess i should have taken some.

on stands, just installed the tail lights.



motor is in and on the mounts.

this is where it ended for the day.


No bad for 1 half day yeasterday and most of the day today

It should be running tomorrow if i can find a key and ignition switch for under the wheel.

I dont think this one will make that, this one is gunna be some where in the 250-300 whp all motor range.

Awesome project, I've been looking for a CRX to build up myself. What motor did you drop in? B16? GSR?

Its a GSR, with Arp rod bolts, head bolts, B16 Head with full skunk 2 valve train, including skunk stage 3 cams.

It has wisco 10.2 comp pistons, and eagle H-Beams. its planed to go boost later in its life. i would just like to see what can be made all motor for a change.
