F-150??????

Hey guys
Well with all the my truck has esp the stack and the lift. its not very practical for me to drive it daily for my construction business. I drive around 100 miles a day Monday through Friday.

I need a smaller truck that wasts less fuel so i had been looking to buy a used F-150 under 10k or an even smaller ranger or toyota tacoma 6cyl.

Im looking to see how much MPG people are getting out of their 5.4L F-150 V8 trucks..... the one im looking at is a 2004 supercab 2wd v8 with under 100k miles for under 10k

will i be able to fill it up once a week? maybe get even better milage out if it?

any input you guys have is very much appreciated...

We have an 04 F-150 Supercab FX4 and it does pretty decent on gas. We fill it up probably once every 5-7 days. It gets daily driven and mostly highway miles, probably 40 mile round trip for my brother to work everyday and then when he goes out at night.

Rides like a dream IMO with a great interior.

Friend has an f150 4x4. and gets like 14mpg. it has the smaller motor in it.

I was getting 14 outa my '95 Exploder, 19 outa the 350, hmmmmmmmmmm.

my girlfriend has a 04 f150 with a 5.4 and it gets same to worse mileage than my 6.0 even with the fuel difference. On the highway i definately got it beat pretty even in traffic but i got payload in the back of mine to

From what I hear around everyone like's their 04+ 150's. I've even seen a couple of chevy guys go an buy 150's.

that what i wanted to see lol..... and maybe that its a 2wd it will get a lil more MPG.....

and no im not planing to mod it other than a rack for scafolds and a tool box..... well my tool box from my SD onto that one. maybe tint the windows if i cant get them to throw it in

i wouldnt bother with an f150 for milage.

That seems like a good deal. Use that, keep the miles and wear off of Christine.
