I have said it before and I'll say it again read this book:
Lone Survivor by Marcus Luttrell

It will knock your socks off. I got it for Christmas, read it in about three days. It is the only time I have ever made my wife do anything. I told her she had to read this book. Now she makes her friends read it. All bout spreading the word about this type of person and the sacrifices they make.

Makes you proud.
