O.K. Officially in Nashville
O.K. guys finally officially in Nashville area. Finally arrived on Thursday. I am here permanent. (except that I will be touring soon) so, I will be in and out of town, but Nashville is where I will be calling home. So far very different from Las Vegas, Nv but that is good. I lived there for 20 years and the change is good. people are very relaxed here, and I need that. I was way too wound from living there, and dealing with the way of life there. Drivers aren't perfect here, but they are much more courteous than in Vegas. They seem to realize my truck is much bigger than their car is, and give me a bit more berth to move around. and don't cut me off at no notice. Plus the vegetation grows natural here and isn't imported. Oh, and about 2 weeks ago I re-signed as a premium member.

You haven't been driving on 24 in Nashville very much then because they cut me off with my 25' GN trailer multiple times. They are some of the worst drivers I've ever incountered. I got flipped off because some lady came over a foot in front of my truck and then slammed on her brakes my only course of action was to go to the right and some dude in a mercedes suv was mad he had to slow down. Nashville itself is a pretty cool town I just have more close calls there than anywhere.

thanks, yeah, I like it alot better, just have to get used to the rain. It does smell better though, when it rains in Vegas, it has a dirty dusty smell

well, I do live off the 24 currently, by murfreesboro, but haven't had any bad experiences yet, but then I haven't been here that long, I used to get flipped off all the time in Vegas for just driving down the road, when people wanted to do something stupid and I wouldn't let them. (such as cut me off at the split in the road. such as an exit. they will wait until the very last moment and then cut over from the left and expect that I am supposed to let them. I pissed off a cop that was trying to do that (no lights no siren) he just thought he had the right to do so. He didn't pull me over though and I was surprised at that. I would have turned his but into the t.v.stations and the mayor's office if he had, (t.v. first then the mayor's office after the story ran) they love that kind of stuff.

I'm glad you haven't experienced stupid drivers there yet. I go through once a month and usually get cut off at least twice. Murfreesboro is a lot better now they have the construction finished. You been to the Outpost and ate you some gator yet?
