big radios in AK means the truck has VHF. we run road channels with names. arrow 1 is the most common up here.
the trucks here barly use CBs for anything anymore but we still have them.

that is a 2m radio and i am not coded to use those radios. meaning i don't have a ham band license. you can get into trouble for using them without it.

I belong to The CB Radio Talk Forum :: Index and THE REAL DEAL CB RADIO FORUM !! :: Index

I need to get my ticket too but then again i already have a 10 meter..... I heard that some of VHF 2m marine radios get a pretty clear signal like FM but not taking up too much bandwidth on FM.

CBRT is a good place to learn tons of info and has tons of members, but the admins and owner are a whole other story...... The Real Deal CB Forum is an uncensored arena that...lets say doesn't get along with CBRT. My screen name is the same is this, as with every forum i'm part of.
