Exclamation SCREW PAYPAL

Talk about a pain in the butt. Once you approach 5k you have to become verified to keep using your account. I can't set this up unless I go to my bank in person. The joy of not having my EX running and being stuck at home.

I have tried. But I don't have my bank account thing setup online. The only way I can do this is to go into my bank and do it. I don't understand why once you hit $5,000 you have to become verified.

Most likely related to terrorism and not allowing those people to get money to the people who need it.

Their $5000 limit is a liability issue. Think about it what if your bank isn't verified and you purchase something from fleabay for $10,000 you submit payment with phoney info and you walk with the merchandise and the seller has no way to recoup their money back other than to go through PayPal and then PayPal has to do an investigation to try and get their money back out of it. You should be able to verify your account simply with your check book as it will have your routing number and account number to your bank account and then just get the address and phone number for it.
