I read that this morning. I'm always sad to hear kids lost their lives. Their futures are gone. for the families.

this is why i never blow through intersections, you never know who's coming through.. itsa shame for the kids, the families, and the trucks.. all could have lived happy lives if they were doing what they're supposed to

This is one reason my own son hasn't ever driven my truck with the tunes loaded in it. It may end up like this.

Some people just don't get it. There was a long power outage a few months ago on a rainy night. I got board and decide to drive around, traffic lights were completely out but I stopped anyways. A dodge decided that it would be a better idea to smoke me out rather than stop. If he had been a few seconds off, he would have hit the vehicle going the other way that also didn't stop.

I helped clean up a fatality accident at an intersection where a young girl in a car and two brothers in a pickup collided, the truck burst into flames and people burned to death inside. They had a toolbox in the back, upon impact, the truck snap rolled and shot that toolbox about 50 feet into a cornfield and mowed down corn till it stopped. It took 4 of us to carry the toolbox out. I never run fast through an intersection that I couldn't see both ways.....

Sorry to see so many young lives ended too soon.

I help teach at Doug Herbert's B.R.A.K.E.S driving school in Charlotte, NC. Doug lost his two sons in 2008 because of an accident. This video is played at the start of every school. If this doesn't make you slow down and think, I don't know what will.

There was also an accident in Ohio where 6 teens died when their stolen SUV crashed into a lake, and 5 burned to death when their van blew a stop sign and was hit by a gas tanker.

That's 14 teens in less than a week.

Just a couple months ago 4 guys took their moms navigator and rolled it. All 4 died. Sad that this stuff happens on a regular basis.

Re: Sad

Wow. I hadn't heard about that one in Dumas. That's not very far from me. This stuff is really sad. I had a friend that died in a wreck along with 2 others. Its a horrible thing.
