BRING A DOG KILLER TO JUSTICE

A petition to arrest 18 year old Caisen Green has been posted on change.org and I'm seeking support from members of this site to help bring this sorry excuse of a human being to justice.

Caisen allegedly shot a young pitbull that strayed onto his property with a bow and arrow then posted pictures and boasted about it on his Facebook page.

An individual from this piece of crap's town posted a youtube video seeking support of the petition

I don't understand the point of the petition I guess. Sure, it's crappy to shoot the dog if it wasn't threatening but what good is a petition going to do? Petitions won't bring charges if he didn't break a law (or maybe he did break a law?)...and even if some sort of law IS enacted, it wouldn't be retroactive.

Pressure. It's all about public perception and pressure. Look up the George Zimmerman case in Orlando, FL.

This guy did break a law and is supposedly on the run.

OKLAHOMA CRUELTY TO ANIMALS STATUTES

Any person who shall willfully or maliciously destroy or kill, or cruelly beat or injure, maim or mutilate, any animal in subjugation or captivity, whether wild or tame, and whether belonging to himself or to another, or deprive any such animal of necessary food, drink or shelter; or who shall cause, procure or permit any such animal to be so overdriven, overloaded, tortured, destroyed or killed, or cruelly beaten or injured, maimed or mutilated, or deprived of necessary food, drink or shelter; or who shall willfully set on foot, instigate, engage in, or in any way further any act of cruelty to any animal, or any act tending to produce such cruelty, shall be guilty of a felony and shall be punished by imprisonment in the state penitentiary not exceeding five (5) years, or by imprisonment in the county jail not exceeding one (1) year, or by fine not exceeding Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00).


Lots of legalese in there, right? What it says in short is that if you willfully or maliciously kill an animal that is a pet, whether its yours or someone else's, you're guilty of animal cruelty.

I'm not an attorney, but that looks like an applicable law to me. Maybe it's because I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night?
