Dog saves family

Monroenews.com - Informing Monroe County, Michigan, for more than 180 years

This guys dog gave his life for the family that loved and cared for him. It is sad that this dog that was loyal to his owners had to loose its life. But as the owner says the dog did its job. It protected the family. If it was not for the dog who knows what the out come would have been.

The dog owner did not have any weapons on him nor did the rest of the family. The only person that had a firearm was the burglar. But the dog distracted the burglar for enough time so the dog owner could escape.
