Shooter is a good bit like his daddy. Just enough out of the main stream to not get noticed, but far enough to make songs that stand out.

Being kinda an old guy, I guess I listen to "southern rock", well all kinds of rock. I've got that same song by "Dire Strates", been listening to it for years.
Good song, I've never watched too many videos but that's a good one.

i listen to shooter and waylon religiously. also many other REAL country singers. i'm not really diggin the keith urban, rascall flatts, kensey chesney radio stuff.

I guess this old guy needs to get back in touch, huh. I listen to a lot of music, (all kinds country, pop, jazz, classical, blues, folk and a mixture of all). Just got an MP3 player and joined Napster. Where have I been the last ten years? (I guess just working my butt off). Good post, beats the crap out of all the political stuff. Give me good music and fast trucks/cars.
