Fecesbot! That thing is a turd from the outside. I have been a Toyota guy for nearly 20 years, but I don't like that any more than I do the current or past Tundra. It is an interesting concept. It sounds like they have heavy enough components to make a decent truck, but it is short on power.
Most concept vehicles put out crazy power figures that the market doesn't see for years to come. They could at least lie and say that it makes 400 hp and 735 lb/ft of torque or whatever the rice version of torque is. It is interesting that they went with an Allison tranny. Things have come full circle in that respect. They used to own the technology/reliability market. |
