Prayers Needed

We have a very good family friend whose son needs your prayers today.

He is 16 and we have known him since he was 5. He had been getting severe bloody noses. Well on Tuesday they took him to the ER. There they ran a couple tests and determined that he was suffering from renal failure and promptly put him on an ambulance headed to Seattle Children's Hospital. Since he has been there they have done one period of dialysis and more testing. At this point they don't know what is causing it. He remains in the ICU and could remain hospitalized for up to a month. Mom and Dad don't have the time to take off work so they are alternating days at the hospital. Any good vibes, prayers, thoughts you can send his way would be appreciated.

Just some updates.

Sounds like Carter's dialysis went well through the night and they are still planning to take him to surgery to put in a more permanent line in his shoulder. Hopefully after that he will go back to a regular room if all goes well.Thats pretty much all for now. Thanks to everyone for all your well wishes and prayers!!

Carter is out of surgery and has his new dialysis line in. Everything went well and he is recovering in ICU. Still not sure if/when they will move him back to a regular room.
